Duplex fire displaces three adults and two children Tuesday night

On Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, at 10:06 pm, the Turlock Fire Department, Modesto Fire Department, Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigations Unit, Turlock Police Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported residential working structure fire in the 3300 block of Radcliff Way, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a three-car garage attached to the duplex well involved, as well as a vehicle on fire parked outside one of the garages.

The Turlock Irrigation District and Pacific Gas and Electric Company responded to the scene to secure utilities, while the Modesto Fire Department and Turlock Rural Fire Protection District provided city coverage for the duration of the incident.

No injuries were reported, however, three adults and two children were displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross responded to provide assistance to them.

The cause and origin of the fire remain unknown.

The investigation remains on-going. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is encouraged to call the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigations Unit at 209-525-5537.
