On Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, at 3:31 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported hit and run with injuries in the 2100 block of Fulkerth Rd, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a pedestrian down in the westbound lanes of Fulkerth Rd directly in front of the bus stop.

The pedestrian was later determined to be an 83-year old Hispanic man with a last known address in Modesto. He was suffering major injuries which he succumbed to at the scene. His identity is yet to be released, pending next of kin notification.

The Turlock Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene to investigate the collision.
