The Turlock Fire Department has responded to a structure fire on Hedstrom Road, across the street near Raley's and just east of Starbucks on Geer Road.

Turlock firefighters are scene and battling a fully involved single structure fire on Hedstrom Road, and working to contain it.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:17 p.m. on the 100 block of Hedstrom Road. At least 3 engines are at the scene with dozens of bystanders across the street at nearby Blossom Valley Plaza.

Firefighters and police have blocked off the road at Geer Road from the west and James Street from the east as firefighters handle the scene.
