On Sunday, April 10th, 2022, at 10:05 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Amigo Market, 1601 W Main St, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with employees who reported to them that three males and two females came into the store trying to steal vape items. The employees confronted them and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a handgun was brandished by one of the suspects, scaring the employees and allowing the suspects to flee.

The suspects got into a black sedan and fled westbound on W Main St.

Officers believe that they were able to identify one of the suspects and follow up will be conducted.

The investigation remains on-going.
