Four arrested early Sunday morning after Columbia Park shooting

On Sunday, February 14th, 2021, at approximately 12:55 am, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a shooting that had just occurred at Columbia Park located at 595 High St. The caller reported that there was a fight involving multiple subjects at the park and that one subject had fired a gun into the air.

Officers arrived in the area and saw four subjects walking away from the park and one of them matched the description of the subject who had fired the gun. All four subjects were contacted and detained. Officers searched the area and found three loaded handguns and a large baggie of narcotics. All four subjects were placed under arrest and booked into either the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center or Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall, depending on their age.

The first was identified as Alexander Arroyo, 20, of Turlock. He was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, discharging a firearm in a negligent manner, and child abuse. The second was identified as Nicholas Webb-Toline, 25, of Turlock. He was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm. The third, whos identity is not being released because he’s a juvenile, was a 15 year old male. He was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a stolen firearm. The fourth, whos identity is also not being released because he’s also a juvenile, was a 14 year old male. He was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
