Franklin Lankford, born in Keene, Texas passed away February 20, 2010 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA at the age of 76.

He is survived by one daughter Shellie Lankford Jones of Turlock; five sons David Lankford of Denair, Martin Lankford of Keyes, Alan Lankford, Steven Lankford and John Lankford all of Turlock; sister Nora Luse-Blattler of Modesto; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents E.J. and Icy Lankford; brothers Bobby Joe, Alfred James, Marvin Wayne and Jack Lankford. Frank was married to Bonnie Showin Lankford for 17 years and they had six children.

Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, February 28th from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at Allen Mortuary on Monday, March 1st at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
