On Friday, December 17th, 2021, at 9:27 pm, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Arco AMPM, 150 E Monte Vista Ave, Turlock. The caller reported that two subjects had entered the store and robbed the clerks of an undisclosed amount of currency.

When officers arrived on scene, they immediately began a canine track for the suspects who had fled eastbound on foot. Despite best efforts, they were not located.

When dispatch called allied agencies in the area to have them be on the lookout for the suspects, the Ceres Police Department reported that they had a similar robbery about 45 minutes ago at an Arco AMPM in their city. Both robberies had similar suspect descriptions and are believed to be related.

This location has been robbed several times this year, however, all the prior times it was by the same suspect who had already been arrested and was in custody at the time of this robbery occurring.

The investigation remains on-going. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is encouraged to call Officer Paul Hernandez at 209-668-1200.
