Gas station robbed Tuesday night

On Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, at 11:33 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported hold-up alarm at Quik Stop, 2406 W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock. While officers were en route to the call, the clerk called dispatch and confirmed that there was indeed an armed robbery that had just taken place. The clerk provided dispatch with a description of two suspects, which was relayed to responding officers who checked the area, but were unable to locate anyone matching.

Officers made contact with the clerk and learned that two Hispanic males in their twenties, one armed with a knife, came into the store and demanded that the clerk give them currency and merchandise. The clerk complied and then the suspects fled the scene.

It is currently unknown if the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle.

Officers collected surveillance footage to be used as evidence and will follow up.
