Helen June Bold Obituary

Helen June Bold July 1932 ~ June 2022 Helen June House was born to Andrew and Ramona (Fugitt) House in Sacramento, CA, on July 13, 1932, and passed into eternity on June 5, 2022, just 38 days shy of her 90th birthday. She grew up in the St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Sacramento, attending Immaculate Conception Grammar School and St. Francis High School. As the oldest in a family of girls, she had three younger sisters, Beverly Bertram (deceased), Judith Miles, and Arlene (Ronnie) Gifford. She met John Bold in 1960 and they married on April 15, 1961. To this union was born four sons, John Joseph Jr. (wife Debbie), Daniel Philip (deceased), Gerald William (deceased), and Patrick Donald (wife Melody). Her greatest joy was making a loving home for her husband and children, and later, grandchildren, and she loved planning and hosting family gatherings in her home. After her children were grown, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. They especially enjoyed visiting missions and lighthouses along the California coast. She welcomed her sons’ spouses into the family, making them feel like daughters, and her grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan, Christopher (deceased), Sarah, and Faith, brought her great pride and delight. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two sons, one daughter-in-law, and one grandchild. Left with sweet memories are her husband of 61 years, two sons and their wives, four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 10th from 5-7pm at Allen Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints University Parish in Turlock on Saturday, June 11th beginning at 11:30am with a graveside to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
