A suspect with an information in belief for a burglary in Ceres was arrested by Turlock police after she was involved in a hit and run on Tuesday evening.

At approximately 6:35 p.m. a female driver, later identified as Breana Sickert, 20, was involved in a collision near the intersection of North Golden State Boulevard and Fulkerth Road.

Sickert fled the scene of the collision.

She was later found in the area of Fulkerth Road and Joett Drive by a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputy.

Sickert originally denied being the suspect in the hit and run, but was identified by witnesses.

Sickert was arrested and cited for hit and run by the Turlock Police Department.

She was then released into the custody of the Ceres Police Department on the information in belief for a burglary out of Ceres.
