Jason Helms (aka “Skin”) was born and raised in Massachusetts. He came to California and was “adopted” by Ismael and Constance Coronado at the age of 15. He has lived in and around the Turlock area since that time.

His life tragically ended while visiting in Arizona recently. Jason loved sports, including basketball, football, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and baking. He was close to his family and especially loved his kids. He worked as an iron worker in the construction of metal buildings for 12 years and enjoyed his work.

Jason is survived by his parents, Ismael Manuel Coronado and Constance Coronado, his wife Brandie Helms, two sons: Jayson and Noah Helms; and siblings: Paul Helms Jr, Troy Helms, Daren Helms, Scott Helms; and Katrina, Christina, Michelle, Angel, Jennifer, J.B., Caesar, Amanda, and Sabrina Coronado. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Coronado.
