Applications are being accepted by The City of Turlock for an electrical mechanical maintenance supervisor position.
The City job posting states that the individual hired, under the direction of the supervisor, will plan, assign and review the work of the electrical/mechanical maintenance staff. This person will oversee equipment associated with the wastewater facility, water distribution system, sewer/storm collection pumping stations as well as traffic signals and street lights.
Minimum qualifications include but not limited to, possession of an Associate Degree from an accredited college or vocational/technical institution in this or related fields. Candidate must also possess an equivalent to 3 semester college units of supervisory/management training. Also the ability to obtain a Grade III Certification in mechanical or electrical/instrumentation technology issued by the California Water Environment Association within 48 months from date of employment.
If applying one will also need a valid California Driver's License issued from Department of Motor Vehicles.
Monthly salary ranges from $6,564 – $7,978 depending on background experience.
