Jose Ascencion Martin, age 59, of Turlock, California passed away on Thursday,June 09,2022 in Turlock, California. He was born August 28, 1962 in Cuernavaca Morelos, Mexico to Luz Diaz and Antonio Martin.
Jose was born and raised in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico. From there he decided to move to San Jose. While working at the Mrs. Smith’s Pies plant, which is now known as Kellogg’s USA in San Jose, he met his now wife Nancy. It blossomed from just being co-workers to love. They both decided to move to Turlock, CA from San Jose, CA 23 years ago. He loved his family and he loved life itself. One of his loves was soccer, he was also a coach for the soccer field at the Turlock Regional Sports Complex. Another love was travel, Jose and Nancy traveled all over the world. Mexico, the Bahamas, Hawaii, Florida, Arizona, and the Grand Canyon just to name a few. Jose was a huge Raiders football fan and he loved watching the games with great enthusiasm. He loved his family and his family loved him. They will greatly miss him and forever hold that passion for life within their hearts. It was a blessing to have him as a husband, father and grandfather, aka Tata.
Jose is survived by his wife, Nancy Martin of 34 years; his daughter Natasha A. Martin; his sons Jose A. Martin and Brandon A. Martin. As well as his step children Audra Ramirez, Stephanie Machado, Denise Fitzgerald and Desiree Portillo.
Jose was preceded in death by his father Antonio Martin, his mother Luz Diaz and one brother.
