San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick reported Wednesday that the NFL has fined him more than $11,000 for his “inappropriate language” penalty during Sunday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Kaepernick also reported Wednesday that he plans on appealing the fine.

The flag was thrown after Kaepernick allegedly said something to Lamarr Houston of the Bears following a fourth quarter interception.

“I didn’t say anything,” said Kaepernick following Sunday night’s game.

However, side judge Laird Hayes did not agree with Kap.

“He knows what he said,” Hayes told CSNBayArea.com.

A 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for “inappropriate language” was called on Kaepernick.

On Wednesday, Kaepernick reiterated that nothing was said that warranted the penalty or the fine.

“I didn’t say anything,” said Kaepernick. “Lamarr Houston said I didn’t say anything, we’re going to leave it at that.”

Houston told the Chicago Tribune that he just said “nice pass” when he patted Kaepernick on chest before the penalty was called.

“I didn’t hear anything,” Houston told the Chicago Tribune.

Kaepernick said he plan on appealing the fine, adding that nothing in the letter sent from the NFL informing Kap of the fine detailed what he said.
