On Saturday, March 18th, 2023, at 8:45 pm, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported dangerous driver at QuikStop, 1260 Geer Rd, Turlock, who had been running around the parking lot yelling at people and then nearly crashed while moving his vehicle from a gas pump to a parking space.
When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with a man who they immediately recognized as Spencer Silva, 28, of Turlock, who we’ve already written about getting arrested twice in the same area so far this month.
Silva was obviously under the influence of narcotics, so he was arrested.
When officers had their dispatcher run the silver 2006 Chrysler Town and Country that Silva had reportedly been driving, they discovered that it had recently been reported stolen.
Officers called Silva’s parole agent and informed him of what had occurred. The agent found that there was probable cause a violation of parole had occurred, so he authorized that Silva be placed on a hold while awaiting a parole revocation hearing.
Silva was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of buying or receiving a stolen vehicle and violation of parole.
