Kulwant Somal, 49, of Turlock passed away on Monday, October 25. He was born in Patiala, Punjab, India to Daljit and Manjit Somal in 1961. In 1980, he moved to Yuba City, CA and then to Livingston in 81. He settled in Turlock in 1982. Kulwant had worked for Foster Farms for over 30 years, and worked his way to becoming a production superintendant. He was a member of the Turlock Verduga Rd. Sikh Temple. He enjoyed golfing and football. Kulwant was an avid Raider’s fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his cherished family.
Kulwant is survived by his wife Rajinder Somal; children Manprit Somal, Gurprit Somal and Joshprit Somal all of Turlock; mother Manjit Somal of Turlock; siblings Surinder Nagra and Inderjit Sidhu. He was preceded in death by his father Daljit Soma.
