At about 9:54pm Friday night, Turlock Police responded to a shoplifting that had just occurred at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in the 2400 block of Geer Road.

The caller reported that Michael Gonzales, 39, our local TV star who was featured on episode 3 of A&E’s show Booked: First Day In back in June, had taken a box of wine from the business and left.

Officers arrived in the area a few minutes later and located Gonzales across the street at the bus stop by Yogurt Mill. Gonzales was contacted and detained.

Through the investigation, it was determined that Gonzales had also previously been trespass admonished from the business.

Gonzales was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of theft and trespassing.
