At about 12:17am Sunday morning, Officer Villapudua located an occupied stolen semi-truck parked near Olympic Drive and Gold Drive.

Villapudua made a high-risk stop and additional units responded to assist him.

The truck’s two occupants, later identified as Casey Grant, 44, of Atwater, and Jennifer Glidewell, 42, of Arkansas, were removed from the truck at gunpoint and detained in handcuffs.

Grant was told that he was under arrest and then claimed that he was having chest pains and that he had a history of congestive heart failure.

Firefighters and paramedics responded, ultimately transporting Grant to a local hospital.

At the time of this report, he has yet to be booked into jail but will be facing the charge of receiving a stolen vehicle.

Glidewell was also arrested and released on a citation for an unknown narcotics charge.

The stolen truck was impounded.
