On Saturday, November 26th, 2022, at 1:36 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported residential burglary in progress at a residence in the 700 block of Pedras Rd, Turlock, after an alarm company had received a medical alarm activation from an elderly subscriber and after they called her she told them that there was someone who had entered her house through a window.

As officers were responding, the victim herself called police and told them that the intruder had left. She provided a description of him, a younger white man wearing a hat, black jacket, white shirt, and white pants.

Simultaneously, police received a call from a woman at a residence in the 1000 block of Jacquelinelee Dr reporting that her son, Logan Kunze, 19, of Turlock, who police have a lot of recent history with, was banging on their front door and hallucinating.

Officers responded to Kunze’s residence and found that his description matched that of the burglary suspect. The victim was brought to Kunze and she was able to positively identify him as who had entered her house.

Kunze was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of burglary.
