On Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, at 3:48 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported robbery that had just occurred at Pet Supplies Plus, 2840 Countryside Dr, Turlock, after a man had used his body to push through an employee while exiting the store with unpaid merchandise.

The man, later identified as Joshua Scott, 20, of Modesto, was followed out of the business by an employee who watched him ride off on his bicycle.

Officers checking the area for Scott located him across the street with the stolen merchandise still in his possession. Scott was detained and then positively identified by a business employee as the man who had robbed them.

Scott was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of robbery.
