On Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at 1:04 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 300 block of Lane St, Turlock, after a victim had a knife brandished at them by an estranged family member.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with and detained the suspect, Emory Fitzpatrick, 37, of Modesto, outside of the residence.

Officers began investigating and determined that Fitzpatrick had unlawfully entered the residence and made threats with a knife. Officers also learned that there was a court order between Fitzpatrick and the victim only allowing the two to have peaceful contact.
