On Monday, August 29th, 2022, at 4:23 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of E Glenwood Ave and Greenhills Dr, Turlock, observed a bicycle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
The officer made contact with the bicyclist and identified him as Joshua Morris, 33, of Aptos.
When the officer had his dispatcher run Aptos, he returned with a misdemeanor warrant out of Stanislaus County for failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as a felony warrant out of Santa Cruz County for grand theft.
Although the warrant out of Santa Cruz County was a felony one, Santa Cruz County was not willing to extradite him and only wanted him cited.
Morris was arrested and released on a citation on his warrants.
