At about 1:18am Saturday morning, Turlock Police responded to a battery in progress in front of The Udder Place in the 100 block of W. Main Street.

When officers arrived on scene and got out with the involved subjects, none of them wanted to be a victim of anything, however, one of them was extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself, so he was arrested.

The arrestee was identified as Adrian Garcia, 22.

Garcia was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle, however, refused to move his feet in so that the door could be shut, so officers had to force his feet in.

While being transported, Garcia began banging his head against the window, so the officer had to pull over.

Additional officers arrived on scene and managed to calm Garcia down enough to the point where he stopped banging his head, however, he began doing it again and had to be placed in a WRAP restraint device and have a protective helmet placed on his head.

Garcia was eventually booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of public intoxication and resisting a peace officer.
