On Monday, October 31st, 2022, at 1:40 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance that had just occurred at McDonald’s, 2400 Geer Rd, Turlock, after a man who was fleeing the area on a bicycle had allegedly threatened to beat up employees after they get off work.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted employees who just wanted the man trespass admonished from the property.

Officers began searching the area for the man and located him across the street. They made contact with him and identified him as Brian Vastine, 37, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Vastine, he returned with a local $50,555 misdemeanor warrant for possession of methamphetamines and selling of or possession of sedatives or benzodiazepines with the intent to sell.

Vastine was arrested and released on a citation on his warrant.
