Man arrested on felony drug sale warrants during traffic stop early Saturday morning

On Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at 4:22 am, a Turlock Police officer at Evergreen Packaging, 1500 W Main St, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with the vehicle’s four occupants, which included its driver, Jason Faustino, 37, of Turlock, and identified them. Faustino originally provided someone else’s name, however, it was quickly discovered that he had lied and he was properly identified.

The officer then had his dispatcher run all four subjects. Faustino returned with two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant. Charges included possession of a controlled substance for sale, driving without a valid driver’s license, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Faustino was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
