On Friday, June 23rd, 2023, at 5:03 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Park St and West Ave N, Turlock, observed a suspicious person, so he got out with him.

The officer made contact with and identified the man as Kyle Story, 31, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Story, he discovered that he had a $100,500 felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for driving or taking a vehicle without the consent of its owner and a $10,000 misdemeanor bench warrant out of Merced for reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance.

Story was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
