On Monday, May 8th, 2023, at 12:15 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Lander Ave and Vermont Ave, Turlock, made a double pedestrian stop.

The officer made contact with and identified the two, including Thomas Presley, 35, of Turlock.

Presley originally gave the officer a fake last name, however, an assisting officer arrived and recognized him.

When the officers had their dispatcher run the two, they discovered that Presley had two $25,550 misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia, while the second was for loitering or prowling for the purpose of committing a crime and possession of a controlled substance.

Presley was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
