On Monday, March 20th, 2023, at 8:43 am, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a security check in front of a residence in the 3400 block of Roanoke Ct, Turlock, after two men had been seen slumped over in a running vehicle.
Officers arrived and contacted the two, including a man who identified himself as John Shamon, 35, of Turlock. Neither of the two requested any medical assistance.
During the course of the investigation, officers determined that Shamon was in possession of a leaded cane and narcotics.
Shamon was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a leaded cane, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
