At about 1:10am Monday, Turlock Police responded to a security check at a residence in the 100 block of Almond Avenue.
The caller reported that a vehicle had been parked in his driveway with someone in it. When the caller asked the man to move, he was initially unresponsive but then woke up and refused to move his vehicle, telling the caller to move it instead.
Officers arrived on scene and contacted the man, identifying him as Gabriel Reyna, 43, of Turlock. He was determined to have an expired driver’s license.
While speaking with Reyna, officers noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle, so he was removed from it.
During a subsequent probable cause search, officers located methamphetamines with evidence of sales in the center console.
Reyna was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of possession of methamphetamines for sale.
