Man beaten and held at gunpoint for money Saturday night

On Saturday, February 11th, 2023, at 8:20 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported battery in progress at the intersection of W Main St and Fransil Ln, Turlock.

While officers were responding, the suspect left the area and one of the callers got out with the victim, who told him that he had just been robbed.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim, who told them that an unknown man had hit and kicked him, before pulling out a handgun and demanding money. The victim complied and gave the man money before he fled the area westbound on W Main St in a vehicle.

The victim suffered minor injuries, however, refused to be transported to the hospital.

The suspect vehicle was described as a black 1999 to 2004 Ford Mustang hardtop.
