Man from Fresno gun store burglary arrested on two million dollar warrant in Turlock Thursday evening

On Thursday, September 8th, 2022, at 6:00 pm, Turlock Police officers arrested Luis Antonio Galvan, 45, of Ceres, at Sinclair Gas & Dino Mart, 1405 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, while assisting Stanislaus County Sheriff’s investigators with an unknown operation.

Due to the nature of the on-going investigation, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office was unable to comment about the operation.

Galvan had a felony $2,070,000 warrant out of Fresno for burglary, grand theft, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or person addicted to a narcotic.

The warrant stemmed from an incident that had occurred all the way back on Friday, October 20th, 2017, at PRK Arms, 1401 N Clovis Ave Suite 101, Fresno.

Galvan and three others had broken into the gun store and stolen fifty firearms, 25 of which were handguns and 25 of which were rifles.

Galvan was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
