On Friday, June 30th, 2023, at 11:29 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance near the intersection of E Hawkeye Ave and Colorado Ave, Turlock, for a man walking down the middle of the street taking his clothes off and swinging his belt and hands around.
When officers arrived in the area, they found and contacted Ismael Hernandez, 36, of Turlock, who was lying down in the roadway in front of a residence in the 1500 block of E Hawkeye Ave.
Officers identified Hernandez and had their dispatcher run him. They discovered that he was on probation for contempt of court and post release community supervision for stalking.
Hernandez displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence and requested an ambulance for a possible injury that he had.
While waiting for the ambulance, Hernandez continued acting erratic and attempted to take his pants off. He was at that point detained in handcuffs and changed his mind about wanting an ambulance.
Hernandez was arrested and the officer called the on-call deputy probation officer to inform them of what had occurred. The deputy probation officer found that there was probable cause a violation of PRCS had occurred, so they authorized that Hernandez be placed on a 10-day flash.
Hernandez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of disorderly conduct and violation of post release community supervision.
