On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, at 6:48 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a security check across the street from Body Vibes, 621 E Main St, Turlock, after a man had been seen suddenly collapsing and appearing unresponsive.

Crews arrived on scene to find Christopher Haynes, 46, of Turlock, laying in the middle of a parking lot displaying objective symptoms of being under the influence of drugs, clearly unable to care for himself. He was arrested for public intoxication.

A search of Haynes incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamines.

When officers had their dispatcher run Haynes, he returned to be on parole for possession of methamphetamines, likely from back when it was a wobbler punishable with state prison time prior to the passing of Proposition 47.

Officers called Haynes’ parole agent to notify them of their findings and they authorized that Haynes be placed on a hold, pending a parole revocation hearing.

Haynes was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines, public intoxication, and violation of parole.
