Man on PRCS arrested after attempting to use counterfeit money early Saturday morning

On Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at 3:59 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported fraud at Arco AMPM, 2301 Fulkerth Rd, Turlock, after a man had attempted to buy items using counterfeit money.

Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the man, who identified himself as Jeremy Lockhart, 42, of Turlock.

Officers had their dispatcher run Lockhart and he was discovered to be on post release community supervision. A subsequent PRCS of his person led to the discovery of narcotics.

The on-call PRCS officer was contacted who determined that there was probable cause that Lockhart had violated his terms.

Lockhart was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of forgery, possession of a controlled substance, and violation of post release community supervision.
