At about 11:21pm Thursday, Turlock Police responded to a trespass in progress at Arco AMPM in the 2000 block of W. Main Street.

Based on the information provided by the caller, a responding officer believed that the suspect was Jimmy Spaulding, 29, of Turlock.

Spaulding was on post release community supervision for assault by means of force likely to produce great injury and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

When officers arrived on scene, they confirmed the suspect was Spaulding.

Officers called the on-call deputy probation officer and informed them of what had occurred. They determined there was probable cause a violation of PRCS had occurred and authorized Spaulding be placed on a 10-day flash hold.

Spaulding was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of trespassing and violation of post release community supervision.
