Man refusing to leave laundromat arrested on felony vandalism warrant Monday morning

On Monday, May 22nd, 2023, at 9:31 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported trespass in progress at Launderland Laundromat, 1592 Lander Ave, Turlock, for a man who was sleeping inside of the business and refusing to leave.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and contacted a man who identified himself as Hector Vasquez, 31, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Vasquez, they discovered that he had two local bench warrants. The first was a $100,500 felony one for vandalism, while the second was a $6,050 misdemeanor one for possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamines, and trespassing.

Vasquez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
