Man robs gas station with gun, allows customer to make purchase, then robs it again early Friday morning

On Friday, November 12th, 2021, at 4:42 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Arco AMPM, 2219 Lander Ave, Turlock.

As officers were responding to the scene, the suspect’s description and last known direction of travel was relayed to them. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate him as there was dense fog in the area at the time.

Officers began investigating and learned that the suspect had entered the store armed with a handgun, robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of currency, allowed a customer to make a purchase, and then robbed the clerk again for the currency the customer used to make the purchase.

The suspect is described is a Hispanic male, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing about 180 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red bandana and rubber gloves.
