On Saturday, October 23rd, 2021, at 11:31 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred at a residence in the 2000 block of Dels Ln, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a 38-year old male subject laying in the front yard of the residence holding pressure to a stab wound to his upper chest. Officers made sure the scene was secure and then allowed fire and medical personnel in to treat him.
The victim was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with moderate injuries. His injuries were determined to be non-life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Before the victim was transported, officers briefly spoke with him and he told them that the stabbing had actually occurred somewhere on N Golden State Blvd between W Taylor Rd and W Monte Vista Ave while he was walking and that someone had brought him to the residence in the 2000 block of Dels Ln.
