On Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 11:48 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance at a residence in the 800 block of Montana Ave, Turlock.
When officers arrived in the area, they found and made contact with a man matching their suspect description in front of Pizza Hut at 920 Lander Ave. He was identified as Michael Freitas, 42, of Turlock.
When officers had their dispatcher run Freitas, they discovered that he was wanted in a vandalism case.
Officers also determined that no new crimes had occurred.
Freitas was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of vandalism.
