Man wanted on felony domestic violence charges arrested early Saturday morning

On Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at 1:30 am, a Turlock Police officer near Arco AMPM, 210 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, noticed a subject in the parking lot of the gas station which he recognized as someone with an active felony information and belief warrant.

The officer got out with the subject, Kenneth Alsip, 42, of Turlock, and asked his dispatcher to confirm the warrant. The warrant was confirmed for domestic violence causing corporal injury and false imprisonment.

Alsip was briefly questioned about the incident which had occurred just three days prior at Central Park, however, he denied any involvement and claimed he did not know what the officer was talking about.

Alsip was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
