On Friday, January 6th, 2023, at 4:12 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person in the 100 block of S Golden State Blvd, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with a man who identified himself as Rodrigo Calix, 28, of Porterville.

When officers had their dispatcher run Calix, they discovered that he had a no-bail felony bench warrant out of Washoe County, Nevada for an assault charge that is extraditable in all western states.

Calix was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Nevada.
