On Sunday, October 9th, 2022, at 12:46 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of N Laurel St and W Olive Ave, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as David Gallo, 20, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Gallo, he returned with a local $10,500 misdemeanor warrant for transporting or selling cannabis and driving without a valid driver’s license.

Gallo was arrested.

A subsequent search of Gallo’s vehicle incident to arrest was conducted which led to the discovery of narcotics in several baggies which appeared to be packaged for sale, paraphernalia commonly used to assist in the sale of narcotics, and large sums of money.

Gallo was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on possession of a controlled substance for sale and transporting or selling cannabis, as well as his warrant.
