The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger Jamie Sampson, 38, of South Carolina.

When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Sampson had three $100,500 felony bench warrants out of Stanislaus County. Two were for buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, while the third was for driving or taking a vehicle without the consent of its owner.

Sampson was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
