At about 2:08am Saturday, Turlock Police Officer Mulhim made a traffic stop near W. Hawkeye Avenue and Dels Lane.
Mulhim made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including driver Anthony Brown, 68, of Turlock.
When Mulhim had his dispatcher run Brown, he discovered he was restrained from his passenger and had two $100,500 felony bench warrants. The first one was out of Stanislaus County for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or person addicted to a narcotic, while the second one was local for inflicting corporal injury upon a spouse or cohabitant.
Brown was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of violation of a domestic violence protective order and violation of probation, as well as his warrants.
