Melvin was born in Porterville, CA to Otis and Ruby Brown. He is survived by his ex-wife Sheila Brown; companion Alexis; children Suzanne Brown, Sheri Maddox and Shelley Patton; siblings Larry Brown, Melba Clark and Betty Ahart; grandchildren Heather Brown, Johnny Parker, Ashley Azevedo, Jennifer Azevedo, Millessa Oberhauser and Makayla Maddox.
Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 4:00-7:00p.m. Funeral service will also be at Allen Mortuary on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
