Motel 6 Stabbing Victim Uncooperative With Detectives

IMG_9881-1

At about 9:54pm Friday night, Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response responded to an aggravated assault in progress at Motel 6 in the 200 block of S. Walnut Road.

When units arrived on scene, they found a victim outside suffering from two stab wounds, one to his side and another to his back.

The stab wounds had been caused by some sort of sharp object during an altercation that had started in a room and made its way outside to the parking lot.

The victim was quickly loaded up into an ambulance and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives were called out and remained on scene with officers into the early morning hours trying to figure out exactly what had transpired.

The victim was released from the hospital a short time later and has since been extremely uncooperative with detectives ever since, refusing to give any information.

Turlock City News currently doesn’t have a suspect description, only a very vague suspect vehicle description of an unknown pickup truck.

While on scene, a witness pointed out a lifted silver 2014 Ford F-250 that drove by. It was stopped, however, was quickly determined to be uninvolved. It’s possible that the suspect vehicle is something similar to that.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist in it is encouraged to call Detective Matthew Ulrich at 209-668-6570.
