Pair of Suspects Arrested for Vandalism, Possession After Police Foot Pursuit

After a short foot pursuit on Saturday night, two suspects were arrested on resisting arrest, vandalism, and possession charges.

Turlock police saw three subjects walking on the 300 block of Center Street at approximately 10:09 p.m., when one of them allegedly spray painted a wall.

When the officer attempted to contact the subjects, they ran, reports the Turlock Police Department.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the three subjects ran towards the Turlock Town Center and then through a fence toward North First Street.

Another officer was waiting for them on First Street, where they were ultimately apprehended.

Turlock Police Department reported that Charles Eldridge, 20, and Robert Zavala, 20, were both detained by police and found to be on probation for vandalism.

Eldridge was also allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and scales.

He was arrested for possession and transportation of marijuana, resisting arrest, and vandalism.

Zavala was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.

The third subject was not arrested.
