On Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, at 5:59 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person at the Park Place Apartments, 3601 Crowell Rd, Turlock, who was in the laundry room.
When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with a man who identified himself as Angel Zamora, 44, of Denair.
When officers had their dispatcher run Zamora, they discovered that he was a sex offender out of compliance with his terms and was also on parole for threatening to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person.
Officers then searched Zamora and discovered that he was in possession of ammunition.
Zamora was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of failure by a transient sex offender to update their registration at least every 30 days, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and violation of parole.
