On Monday, December 5th, 2022, at 7:37 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported assault and battery in progress at the Roger K. Fall Transit Center, 1418 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, between a man who had been causing issues all day and the security guard.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted David Kennedy, 33, of Modesto, who had left the scene and was down the road.

It’s unclear what actually ended up happening about the original battery since Kennedy was not arrested for it, however, when officers had their dispatcher run Kennedy, he returned with two bench warrants. The first one was a $3,500 misdemeanor one for possession of a stolen vehicle, while the second one was a no-bail felony one for violation of parole.

Kennedy had originally given an alias which made it hard to identify if he was the man with the warrants, however, it was eventually confirmed that he was and he was arrested.

Kennedy was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
