On Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at 11:20 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Lander Ave and W Linwood Ave, Turlock, had a man driving a vehicle cut him off, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including driver Alexis Vega, 25, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Vega, he discovered that he had a suspended driver’s license and was on parole for discharging a firearm at an inhabited structure or vehicle.

The officer called Vega’s parole agent and reported to him what had occurred. The parole agent found that there was probable cause a violation of parole had occurred, so he authorized that Vega be put on a hold awaiting a parole revocation hearing.

Vega was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of driving with a suspended driver’s license and violation of parole.
